Nihongo (Japanese Language) Art is a unique way to express ideas through creative use of pictures and words in Kanji, Hiragana or Katakana. Nihongo Art Contest started in 2004 for students from Grades 1 to 12 studying Japanese at an educational institution or in private tutoring in Ontario, Canada. The contest, now changed its form to exhibition, has been held since then to promote Japanese language education as well as to stimulate interest in Japanese language and culture in the region.

The Nihongo Art Exhibition 2019 has ended. Thank you!  You can see the slideshow here.
